The very nature of learning and more specifically higher education is changing. These change which reflect
society at large cascade through all slices of our information world: our professional development, our services
and products, our very approach to customers. A critical need then is to be innovative - and more importantly, to
be smart about it. This presentation focuses on the critical challenges and issues facing information
professionals in higher education, and uses examples from Harvard Business School to illustrate some successful
approaches.
