| Kaum ein Projekt im Bereich des europäischen Arbeits- und Sozialrechts ist so umstritten gewesen wie die Europäische Aktiengesellschaft. Die Dissertation stellt die Entwicklung der Europäischen Aktiengesellschaft vor dem Hintergrund der Europäischen Integration dar und geht der Frage nach, ob sich eine quasi lineare Verknüpfung der Entwürfe zur Europäischen Aktiengesellschaft mit den Integrationsschritten herstellen lässt. Als theoretischer Bezugsrahmen dient die transaktionsbasierte Theorie von Alec Stone Sweet und Wayne Sandholtz. Den Kern der Untersuchung bildet die Einordnung der empirischen Befunde der Europäischen Integration und der Ausgestaltung der Entwürfe zur Europäischen Aktiengesellschaft in den theoretischen Bezugsrahmen. |

| Hardly any other project in European company and labour laws was as highly controversial as the European company. The present doctoral thesis describes the development of the European company against the background of the European integration and addresses the question if there is a quasi linear connection between the concepts of the European company and the European integration measures. The transaction-based theory of European integration by Alec Stone Sweet and Wayne Sandholtz constitutes the theoretical frame of reference. The core part of the doctoral thesis states the positioning of the empirical studies of the European integration and the European company within the theoretical frame of reference. |
